Taste of Tuscany - Join us for a fabulous week of Tuscan Food Touring (and eating!)
Sat 3rd Sept. Arrive at La Maesta and settle in. Welcome Dinner in the evening. D
Sun 4th We spend the morning in Cortona, the setting for Frances Mayes book 'Under The Tuscan Sun'.
After lunch enjoy a tour of Olive Groves, a tasting of oil with bruschetta, proscuitto, and formaggio
followed by Dinner.
Mon 5th Today we go on Winery Tour near the ancient city of Montepulciano. We have Lunch and Wine Tasting
in a magnificent setting.
Tues 6th We have a morning tour of a Pecorino Farm and Factory followed by cheese tasting and lunch.
In the afternoon we visit nearby town Pienza, the centre for Pecorino Cheese. Take in the aroma of the
cheeses and salami.
Wed 7th In the morning we visit Montepulciano where you can taste the wine from the region - Vino Nobile.
After lunch learn to make home-made pasta. You will taste the results with your dinner in the evening!
Thurs 8th A visit to San Quirico and Bagno Vignoni. The latter is a spa town with beautiful views. Our painters love it!
Lunch is at a Slow Food Restaurant nearby.
Fri 9th We spend the morning in Castiglion Fiorentino - shopping at the market, and exploring the town.
During the afternoon learn to make gnocchi which will be followed by your Farewell Dinner at La Maesta.
Sat 10th Rosalinda will drive you to the station for the next part of your trip.

Per person, 1 week (Twin Share or Double).
